- In 1965 John Edrich hit 53 fours and 5 sixes in 310 not out against New Zealand.
- India beat England by an innings and 46 runs here in 2002, after Sachin Tendulkar’s 193 and Sourav Ganguly’s 128.
- In 2017 Shai Hope scored a century in each innings against England, the first batsman to do so in a first-class match at Headingley.
- In 2019 England chased 362 for 9 to beat Australia, their highest fourth-innings target, with Ben Stokes 135 not out.
- Don Bradman made 963 Test runs here in six innings, the most at the ground.
- Headingley has hosted Test cricket since 1899.
