Ranji Trophy 2026-27: Dates, Format and Where to Watch
The 2026-27 Ranji Trophy starts on Sunday 11 October 2026 and runs to the final round of knockouts on 3 March 2027, per the BCCI's season schedule. JioStar (Star Sports and JioHotstar) holds the BCCI's domestic TV and streaming rights until March 2028, but hasn't yet said which Ranji matches it will show this season.
The league is split around the white-ball season: phase one from 11 October to 5 November, then the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and the Vijay Hazare Trophy, and phase two in January and early February. The Elite division then plays its knockouts in February and March; the Plate division finishes in January.
Ranji Trophy matches are usually only partly televised: in past seasons the rights holder has shown a selection of matches rather than every game. We'll list this season's broadcast matches when JioStar or the BCCI names them.
