Watching Cricket While You Travel or Live Abroad
Cricket rights are sold country by country, so the service you pay for at home may not work where you are. This guide covers the legal ways to keep watching or listening: the broadcaster in the country you’re in, what your home service allows while you travel, and official free options. Every rule links to the service’s or the government’s own page.

If you’re living somewhere for a few months, a local subscription for that series is often simpler than relying on your home service. This is not a live score page. Check the service before you pay.

Can I watch my UK Sky or NOW subscription in Spain?
UK services aren’t required to work in the EU since 2021, according to the UK government; some may still allow it voluntarily. Check the service’s help pages before you travel.
Can I listen to Test Match Special abroad?
UK residents can use BBC Sounds abroad for around a month per trip, but the BBC says some sports coverage isn’t available outside the UK for rights reasons, so it may not work for every match.
I’ve moved abroad. How do I watch?
Look up the match on Cricket On Air and pick the country you live in now. That’s the legal service where you are.
Do I still need my home subscription?
Only if that service works where you are. Otherwise a local service for the series is the legal option.
