Sky Sports vs TNT Sports (UK Cricket)
They do not show the same cricket. Sky Sports is the ECB’s broadcast partner for England at home and for the domestic competitions. TNT Sports has the UK and Ireland rights to internationals played in India, and it had the 2025-26 Australian summer, including the Ashes. That Australian deal was for one season and that season is over.

Questions
Does TNT Sports show England home Tests?
Not on the ECB pages we opened. Those name Sky through the end of 2028, including the whole 2027 home summer.
Does Sky show India v England in India?
The UK and Ireland deal we opened gives India-hosted internationals to TNT Sports and discovery+, from the January 2024 announcement through the series on Variety’s list, ending with England’s Test tour of India in early 2028.
Who showed the last Ashes in the UK?
TNT Sports. The series finished on 8 January 2026. The next Ashes, in England in 2027, is on Sky.
Is discovery+ the same as TNT Sports?
Variety and SportsPro both describe discovery+ as the streaming home of those TNT cricket rights. We have not opened TNT’s own UK plans page. Check it before you pay. The price row on our UK guide is Unverified for that reason.
What about ICC tournaments?
For the two 2026 T20 World Cups, the ICC named Sky Sports in the UK and Ireland and did not name TNT. We have not opened a single page that lists every ICC event through the end of Sky’s ICC deal.
